Hello all,

meps stands for "military entrance processing station". It's a place for future recruits (navy, army, marine, airforce) to go and be examined for physical and mental health. I will be leaving for meps to join the marines in a few months. But I have a question...

There is a process which they run you through where they examine your anus if you're a male (like me) to see if it is broken, or stretched I believe which tells them if you have had any partners. I'm not gay, and I have never had a penis up my rectum. But... (no pun intended) when I was a child I did have a thermometer stuck up my rectum when I was sick. I have also taken major bms and I was just wondering if they might think I have takening it up the wrong end by a guy because of this? I just would hate to go there, go through all of the paper work and have them tell me, “well son, it looks like you have had something up there, we cant let you through.” I don’t know if they can tell by maybe seeing how stretched your rectum is, or if there is a tear in something. Please give your input, thank you.
