Maybe he is getting useto being held, which is not such a good idea. Because then eventually all he is going to want is to be held, he's getting used to the body heat. My son went throught that because my in law spoiled my son and only wanted to be held. Icouldn't do anything with out him. I even had to cook and clean with him in one of those little carries. Until I realized that I could burn him while cooking so I started putting the music really loud and I just let him cry until he got used to falling asleep on his own.

Hey jeni I was watching this tv show I think it was Dr.Phil I amnot sure and it was 5 ways to make ur baby stop crying. And it worked this guy who made this thing up was holding a 3 day old baby and he did all 5 things and every one of them worked!!

-1) wrap them tightly in a blanket and if they are still crying its not tight enough

-2) put their ear up to ur mouth and go shhhhh really loud and it makes them stop crying

-3) hold them on the side and kinda shake them but not to hard.

I cant rember the other two but he said u have to practice(sp?) at it cuz if u dont do it the right way it won't work! Go look on Dr.Phils site maybe it will have something on there for you!!
