I have also posted this in the blood disorders forum, simply because I have no clue what is causing this:

when I search online for these symptoms, I only get hits related to pretty benign things. I'm not sure if I should even see a doctor. However all of these things seems to have a very sudden onset. In the past week or so, I have noticed a ton of new cherry angiomas, I have had about 5 broken capillaries form on my face, and I have tiny pinprick-like blood-coloured spots on my arms (tons of them). I have no abnormal bleeding but having some very deep bruising. Is this something related to my cell count or platelets or is it just normal and I shouldn't worry? My husband is of the latter opinion. Thanks.

A note for this forum. I don't know if this is related but I am also having terrible adult acne when i've rarely had acne before, even as a teen.

I don't know either...
I have the same problem. I've had some small broken capillaries on my arm and chest for as long as I can remember. Recently I have found new ones -two within the last week. I have a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, or EDS(at least the doctors think I do), and I'm not sure if it's related. I also have easy bruising which is one of the symptoms. I would love to know what you find out about this because, although I know this is a normal part of the aging process, I really only see it in people my parents age. I'm 26. Good luck. I just called the doctor because I found a new one on my fingertip this morning. I will try to let you know what she says.

cherry angiomas and ehlers danlos
Gerkitt...i also have ehlers danlos and today discovered a bunch of the red dots on my torso...i am wondering if sun exposure has anything to do with it as i just got back from florida...but the sudden onset of these dots is disconcerting....

Your Rashes --- Check for Lupus also
Are you sure you don't have lupus? My daughter started out with JRA (Juvelile Rheumatoid Arthritis) at 12 yrs old and symptoms similar to this came up before the diagnosis of Systemic Lupus in her early 20's (both connective tissue / immune issues). They treated her for Roseola for years before the diagnosis. Started on chest, moved to arms next, then to neck and recently to her face. Starts out like a rash ... then looks like sunburn ... then over time looks like burns. Always worse after in heat (she thought it was just sun ... but it's really any warm spot. Worth checking out.
