I was adopted by my parents and although I love them very much I have felt a empty void since I was a young teen. I am now searching for my biological mother.
What I dont think is right was what happened with me. My bio mom was 18 and in nursing school. She had an affair with a married doctor and got pregnant. She never told him that she was pregnant and she gave me up for adoption. I will never know who my birth father is and he never knew I existed...Maybe it was better that way, im not sure.
Lisa don't give up hope you will find a perfect baby for you.

Keep on trying, there is a baby not yet born and waiting for you to be its adoptive mother. You just arent ready for it yet! Good luck! Good luck, keep praying!

Job 17
10 "but come on, all of you, try again!
I will not find a wise man among you.
11 my days have passed, my plans are shattered,
and so are the desires of my heart.
12 these men turn night into day;
in the face of darkness they say, 'light is near.'

proverbs 16
2 all a man's ways seem innocent to him,
but motives are weighed by the lord .
3 commit to the lord whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.
4 the lord works out everything for his own ends-
even the wicked for a day of disaster.

I love this quote:
Contrary to what some may believe, unwed parents who place their children for adoption are not taking “the easy way out” or abandoning their responsibility. Instead, they are placing the needs of their children before their own feelings and desires—the essence of true parenthood. Such a decision is deserving of the highest commendation and respect.

I am interested in adopting a child to help give someone a chance to succeed. I see the role (now as someone who is investigating the options) as bringing love and kindness and safety to a child's life ... and trying my best. It's a risk, however...what if you don't bond together?
