Ummm in that situation I would get a card and put some money in it

That sounds like a good idea :d we're still reviewing the vouchers because the supermarket I work at does vouchers & they sell clothes & electrical goods as well as food!

A card with vouchers or money is the best thing. Maybe even picture frames or an alnum of the engagement or something. I know for my wedding I wanted money, gift cards, and picture frames. I got all kinds of good things, but a little money, and 1 frame. I was sad lol. So try getting them those!

A card with money is the best thing since they will probably be using this money on the wedding itself. That's the whole purpose of it. To get enough money so that they don't have to fork out as much money that they would have to without the engagement party. I didn't do an engagement party and me and my mom spend over 25 thousand. But i'm okay with it everything was great.

Get them tickets to the movies or like a gift certificate to somewhere to eat~ or both ! Lol

A toaster!!! Lol j/k I just need a new toaster I think I fried mine....I would say a night on the town like jordan suggested.....Certificates to a restaurant, or movies.....Or maybe u could pay for them top stay a night or 2 in a pretty decent hotel. Depends on what u r willing to spend.

Doh! I never read these ideas before I went out last night! They were good ones too! Well we got them vouchers for the supermarket I work in-theyre always in there & they can spend them on house things (when they get one) electrical items,clothes,food blah blah! The girl was wearing a chinese style dress and she hardly looked preg at all! Shes 17weeks but you just couldnt see it!
As for the hotel thing chrissy-i couldnt have afforded it! Ive just paid out a fortune because im taking my lil sis to london with her best friend to stay in a 4 star**** hotel & see a musical :d
