Q: Pregnant Without the Sex?

I know this may sound stupid but I wanted to know if it's at all possible to get pregnant if semen is only around the "area" but actual intercourse did not take place and a tampon was in. I have so many symptoms of pregnancy but my friends say that's it's impossible.

I was taught that it is possible to get pregnant if semen is deposited around the area, and a tampon would not stop it. You should take a home pregnancy test if you think you might be pregnant
