roaccutane and accutane are the same things. They are merely marketed in some countries under slightly different names.

Dyoxycycline
I got a perscription for dyoxycycline (sp?) anyways he told me to try it before using accutane. So we will see what happens. *crosses fingers* lets see! I'm excited I finally get to do something other than topical stuff.

I'll try to get the website up again if you would like to watch my progress as well. I'll post when I do get it up though.

It takes about a month or two to see the full results with the accutane.. But you will see it. I was on it several years ago.

Don't Use Accutane
Omg people don't use accutane. Look around and do some research. Supposedly thousands of kids committed a suicide due to accutane depression side effects. It is one of the biggest dermatology disaster products out there. It works for your skin, don't get me wrong. But when you are off it... You are screwed. The depression is something in the magnitude of lethal. Dermatologists are some of the worse doctors that never sell you a cure. They sell you endless treatments to make money. Doctors have kept it quiet. And this particular medication doesn't allow you or your family to sue the pharmaceutical companies in case something happens. This saids it all about the drug.

Starting Accutane!!!!!!!
Hi guys, I am starting accutane tommorow!! I am just so happy that I will get rid of my acne soon. Although I don't have severe acne so to say, it is only on my neck and on my chicks, but I am so sick of it. I have tried all kinds of meds, including antibiotics, birth control, some topicals and blue light. This blue light is a total bs, I just wasted a bunch of money. My only fear now is that I heard that accutane works good for severe acne, but not as good for my moderate one. Is anybody there, who had the same concerns before taking accutane? Thanks.

Acutane is the best thing that was ever invented for acne! I can't tell you how pleased I was with the results and still am. I had a very bad case of acne when I was 15 years old. I went to numerous dermatologists and got no type of cure until I met Dr. Rodan (maker of proactive) suprisingly I thought she was gona prescribe proactive to me but she gave me accutane. Thank god my parents agreed for me to take it because it cleared up my face so very well. You won't be disappointed!! The side effects were pretty mild on me and there was nothing that was serious. I'm sure that accutane can treat the most worse acne out there! I think what it does is the medication passes through your bloodstream so as oppose to topical meds its in your system! It's a great thing! I highly recommend it!

The question is how long have you been off it? Has it been 4 years yet? If you live an extremely busy lifestyle then I guess it might be possible for you to not notice the depression.

I've been off accutane for 4 years now. I've had little breakouts due to monthly periods but otherwise everything has been good.

The only side effect I had was dry skin and dry lips.. It made me less depressed.. Especially after clearing my skin (of course it all came back a few months later.. But they say some people need 2 treatments and I wasn't able to start another round at the time).
