Hi. I'm new here. I live in phoenix az, i'm 23 years old, and this last weekend I fainted for the second time in my life.

The first time had been about a year ago. I have been at a restaurant sitting down when suddenly I got a cramp on one leg...Then the other leg. I tried getting up and this made the cramping go away, but then everything went white and next thing I knew I was in the floor and my ears were ringing the way old modems sounded when they connecting.

Anyway, this last sunday I had been at the autocross for about 8 hours and even though there was shade where I was sitting, I think the 100 degree temperature dehydrated me a little. I went to pick up a friend at the airport and to hang out with him afterwards and I felt normal...Maybe a bit tired. Driving home that night my right leg, which is the gas pedal leg, started to ache a little. I thought it was normal since I had drive like 100 miles of stop and go that day. When I got home I layed down on the floor and stayed there till morning when I crawled into bed. Later on, I was awaked by a leg cramp, and I got up to see if it would get better and it did. My girlfriend came into the room and I walked a little towards her. Everything started going white and I even said "i'm passing out" before I fell down hitting my back on a chair and almost hitting my head on a speaker.

Well, i'm just wondering if anyone knows what this might be related with. The only other physical problem that I have is that if I have a lot of sugar I get migraines, but I don't know if that would be related to this. Is this something that I should go see a doctor about?

I would say it might be something to do with dehydration and electrolytes because of the cramps you described. If you are not getting enough sodium or pottassium it can cause muscle cramping. A good indication would be that your urine is dark yellow. Then again I could be completely off but hopefully this helps you some
