Hi, hope I got it in the right forum...
I'm a man, 32 and my hair has the last 7-8 years or so, started to be more and more thinly spread, as well as having shown sign of retreating. As most other people in my situation I laughed at other "vain" men who couldn't stop being concerned about their growing baldness. Now i'm here and i'm laughing no more. Thin/retreating hair makes it almost impossible to have a good looking hair style. Your option is to cut it short or to shave it all off. It's a bit like not being able to wear any nice clothes. All you're allowed to wear is worn out and dull clothes from the second hand shop.
Well, lets move on to my question... Since i'm in the position where I either do something about it before it's too late, or I just let the baldness come and take me, i've decided to do something about it... If anything is possible. I have nothing to lose, do i? One thing i've seen around in several different forms are suggestions of nutritions, vitamins and other healthy stuff. The problem I have is that I don't know if they will work (probably not. I might as well point out that i'm not 100% naive. Most of these suggestions might not work whatsoever. Maybe not any of them. But once again, what do I have to lose...). Even more serious is the fact that they may be directly harmful to your health. Who knows. Any weirdo can put their ideas on the internet...

seven wonders "hair food" cocktail
the following drink contains protein, choline, inositol, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin e and zinc: the seven ingredients' nutritionists most often recommend for growing healthy hair.
8 fl oz plain yoghurt
8 fl oz orange juice
3 tablespoons wheat germ
3 tablespoons brewers yeast
1 tablespoon lecithin crystals
1 teaspoon vitamin c crystals
1 raw egg yolk
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatine powder
honey to taste (optional)
combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. If a blender is not available put all the ingredients into a jar with a lid and shake vigorously.
This tonic makes a quick and nutritious breakfast and will work wonders for your hair.
This cocktail should help just about everyone, and you will certainly notice a difference to your hair once you try it.

any opinions on the ingridients?
Will it promote healthy hair?
How healthy? Will I have to spend a fortune on visiting the hairdresser all the time?
Or will it kill me?
Should you eat raw egg? Salmonella? Then someone said only 1 egg in a billion trillion eggs contain salmonella. Is that true?
I would appreciate any comments on my vain, pathetic thoughts.
Cheers
