I am a 54 year old male. I have been seeing blood in my semen for the past 10 months. I do not experience any pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse nor do I feel any pain or discomfort when I urinate. I've had urine tests and prostate examinations and have taken antibiotics (sulfamethx/trimeth ds tb) but it has not cleared the blood. All test results indicate a health/normal prostate. The only explanation I receive from the doctors is that it is probably an infection or inflamation. I am concerned that the doctors do not know enough about this area and are treating it as if it were something it is not.
Are there any other test that I should take or any other health situation that could cause this bloody semen issue? Sad
