Short Term Memory Loss After Heart Attack
For the 2 posts regarding this, did either of your parents gain their short term memory back? My mom has no short term memory and the doctor felt it was from lack of oxygen during a heart attack. She had started losing her memory before the heart attack we knew of, so maybe she had a heart attack we did not know about because she lived alone before. I don't know if I agree with his diagnosis but was interested to hear about other patients losing thier short term after a heart attack.
Again, curious if their short term memory got any better, thanks.

Short Term memory loss after heart attack
My step father had a heart attack 4 days ago now, and his long term memory is there but his short term memory isn't so good. Plus he seems to be really confused about things. So I was just wondering if anyone could help me with knowing wether or not it will come back or not.
