Hi, has anyone here used this supplement, called serenity, as a lithium substitute? The company who makes it has ingeniusly flooded all inquiries on google, etc. With responses only from their own company. I am terrified to start taking lithium, as my psychiatrist is recommending, and was hoping to find someone who has had any success with serenity.

Thanks so much if you have anything you can share,
lisa

Extremely eHealthy
I have never heard of serenity. I was on lithium though for about three years. It made me tired, but other than that it didn't bother me too much. If I come across anything I will let you know.

Serenity
I have been on Serenity for 2 months now because I had very adverse reactions to Citalopram (Selexa). I am doing so much better & have no side effects to date. I do not know how serious your condition is or if that will affect your results, but I am very happy with it and will continue to use it.

I took it and it worked only for a few months so I got off but I never had any side effects. It would be worth giving it a try.
