Prayer and Support

We believe that positive thinking and care and prayer can truly help people in need. If you would like to request support, please submit your request for kind thoughts, best wishes, and prayer here. Your request can be for yourself or someone you know. Write as many details as you like in your post ... but your post should be general enough that we get the picture. Be sure that private information remains private (including full names and locations) and that you maintain anonymity on this public forum.

Perhaps your friend is going for a surgery?
Or maybe you are worried about your own health?
Whatever it is... let us know. We will put in our best intentions for you.

If you`re interested in helping people who have made a prayer request, you can offer your personal support here and/or via private message. In other words, you can post your kind words and best wishes on this thread, and contact members individually.

REMEMBER: Together we make strong medicine.

Psoriasis
I am a Christian so am very appreciative of prayer.
My wife Pat has Psoriasis and we have been attempting to do 2 things. Get better and because she had to quit work- get Disability from CPP here in Canada.
On the disease front- she has it severely on her hands and now on her feet. She has been taking UV treatments but they haven't worked. The dermitologist has stopped the treatments and is now doing more tests to determine if she can take new drugs that "may" help. She has a severe lanolin allergy and recently has complained on our daily walks about breathing problems. So I read up and found there is a correlation between Psoriasis and heart problems. This has me concerned. She also is experiencing more problems walking and when doing the UV treatments complained of sharp pains into the bone.
On the disability she quit work in May, 2008 though the problems started before then. The dermitologist for his part refuses to have anything to do with CPP (personal) and although the GP supports her claim (she cannot sustain working. Her hands have gone from weeping, infected, cracked, bleeding and swollen not to mention very painful and often sleepless nights to "just" swollen and red and sore. That's due to changing soaps, tasks, etc. but overall it's now on the feet and shortness of breath so she cannot go back to work. CPP has decided because the specialist won't reply they have determined she isn't qualified for disability pay and that with time healing should come and that she should be able to work again.
I wish to ask for prayer that she will get proper treatment to help her and that her appeal to CPP will get a fair decision.
Thank You.

Rocky.
