Still Bleeding Wats Going On???help Please! Posted: 06-02-04 13:42pm
Ok I had my baby on april 27th wasnt on
b/c be4 I had him.....Well im on ortho
cyclen.....I started my period on may 11th
started the pill then....I went for 5 days
stopped for 3 then started again on the
21st really heavy and hasnt stopped
since.......Any ideas on what could be
wrong?? Thanks for listening!!

Hey hun its just ur body getting bacl to
normal.....I had that for about 5 1/2
weeks and then I started my b/c pills and
spotted a lot on and off and had like a
short 3 day period or something for about
the first 3 weeks but its all good now so
I say its ur body adjusting.

I would speak to your doctor, usually when
you take a bcp and have breakthrough
bleeding (assuming you're taking them
correctly) it's because the pill is an
incorrect dosage or hormone combination
for you. However, since you did just
have a baby I don't know. Not being a
mother, i"m not farmiliar with the way a
woman's body reacts post partum.

Hey girls thanks it stopped like 2 days
after I made the post but im still going
to talk to my doctor about it at my next
appt. B/c I dont want that to happen w/
my next period!! Thanks!
