Q: Finger Pain

I'm am a 26 year old female who has been experiencing pain in my left index finger and am frightened that the pain will travel up my arm. Usually, about twice a year, I feel pain in my fingers and all the way up to my elbow to my left shoulder. I've taken aspirin to combat the pain, but nothing works. Could this be a pinched- nerve or arthritis and how can I get rid of the pain?

Thank you,
darcy

Darcy - are you pregnant? You are posting about finger pain in a pregnancy forum. Might want to check out the other forums and post there for more on-target responses. Good luck!

Pain in left side of shoulder, chest , arms and fingers
I am 49 years old and am a single mother.

I have been having this pain from my left fingers right up to my shoulders and feeling tightness around my chest almost once or twice a year every since I was single (24yrs old).

The pain is so intense like the whole of my left side is going to be taken off and feel helpless and could not do anything, I just lie down, take a deep breath and rest.

What am I suffering from and could it be arthritis?

Thank you
Audi
