Sofie:

have your mom get a second opinion first.

Are you from derbyshire england? I have a friend in london who has lupus, she may have more insight into your questions.

Private message me with your email address and I will ask her if she can answer your questions for you.

Hi,i know you must be worried about your mom.I had a hysterectomy in '98.Shortly after I was told about my lupus. It was no walk in the park, but if she has a good doctor, she should be ok. They watched me very closely.Put those things on my legs for good blood circulation. Made sure I didn't run a fever, got up out of bed soon after to keep my muscles in good shape.Things like that.Every person is a little different as to their needs. Hope this eases your mind some.

I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy in august. I have fibroids and I have Question been suffering with a quite a few menopausal symptoms. I also have lupus. I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has gone through this procedure and their recovery process. What can on usually expect? What should I pay close attention to? When could you resume normal activity,i.E. Exercise? Confused
