Post Surgery Pain

Hello all,
i'm a teenage, skinny, male (perfect for those lovely pneumothoraxes).. I've had 2 spontaneous on the right and 2 on the left. Last time I had one (on the left) they did a cat scan to find out I had blebs (s?) on both lungs from growing too fast and the lungs not keeping up. Anyways I was sent to university of tennessee and had surgery to remove those weak spots in the lung. I dont remember the name of the surgery but 3 incisions were made and they fully collapsed the left lung to cut off the weak spots, followed by a chest tube but im pretty used to them now Rolling Eyes that's been a month or so ago and I still experience minor pain when bending over, jumping, or anything like that. Of course the smart thing to do would be (duh) stop jumping up and down Wink , but my true passion is colorguard / winterguard and I refuse to stop them..And they require quite a bit of jumping. On to the question.
How long should I expect the pain to last? I know its never really completely gona stop but just give me some sort of idea please! It gets scary sometimes.. Not that I have difficulty breathing or anything but theirs already a 60% chance i'm going to have the operation on my right lung and I dont want to have to have something done to my left lung again, im sure any of you that have had a pneumothorax see why I am worried.. Any help would be super! Feel free to e-mail me as well. Thanks guys! Joshy@dir ecway.Com
