Hi whats the difference between a wrist model and the pump model blood pressure units? Is there a difference between accuracy?

I curently have a omron blood pressure t5 intellisense but it shows a different pressure every time I test it? If I do one in one hand and do another one in other hand it would be different if I do a hand 2 times I will get different readings? Shocked why is this

i also tested this on omron blood pressure auto m5 the same thing happened??

The reading were something like this:
( 119,68 ) ( 102,48 ) ( 112, 58 ) ( 115, 52 )

i wanted to know if this is the same with wrist ones do those have the same problem or do they have better accuracy?

Thanks alot

I've only used the pump models so can't tell you about the wrist version. As to the variability in the readings, are you waiting about 10 minutes between them? Otherwise your system may not have calmed down and may be giving you goofy readings.

After a while, you get a feel for what your blood pressure typically runs and if you get an odd reading, take another after about 10 minutes and average the 2.

Good luck.
