Fornication Is a Sin Against God

Fornication is a sin against god
and I would not suggest any man today in
america get married... You could end up
paying alimony, child support, etc. After
a divorce and end up a slave in america
accept jesus the messiah as lord and king
over your life
ask him in jesus name to fill you with his
holy spirit; so that way he may give you
the strength and desire to obey him

Well marriage is somthing god blessed us
with. And you came on too strong about
what you said. You show people god with
your acts of kindness in gods name and you
show people how to live in gods way, not
demand them. Dont they tell you this in
church?

I don't go to church
i believe 100% in jesus the messiah and I
ask him to fill me with his holy spirit so
that I may than obey him and I ask him in
jesus name to use me as his instrument.
I found this board by accident and started
browsing through everyone's problems here
and it was very depressing.
The good news of the gospel of jesus the
messiah needs to be proclaimed here.
We are living in the last days. This is
the last generation.
It's going to get worse, dreadful times
are upon us.
People need jesus the messiah

Sounds to me like you're using jesus as a
crutch and scapegoat. I doubt he'd like
that very much, however, i'll let him do
the judging/thinking....

Dude, okay, we accept the fact that you're
into jesus and everything, but forcing
your religion on other people is not good.
I don't need someone telling me that sex
is bad. You believe what you want to
believe, and that's okay with me, but if
you try to make me accept that, then you
are wrong, buddy boy. If you don't like
the thought of people fornicating, or
having sex, then that's your bussiness.
Fornication is not a sin, it is a way of
life. Having sex, or making love,
whatever you call it, is both for
pleasure, and to show your love for your
partner. If it is a sin to fornicate, or
have sex, explain how you are here. You
just didn't pop out of a hole in the
earth.

This is a forum, not a debate so take your
religion or whatever you want to call it,
go to mental health and be on your way,
the world is messed up enough. I really
hope you get the help you need.
Sincerely
sandy

Actually, "fornication" only refers to
sexual intercourse with someone you aren't
married to.
Mr. Lightningrod, you clearly have
"issues", and we would be happy here to
help you deal with your problems in
dealing with relationships!

Haha! This guy sounds like he's in need
of a good shag! Sex is not a sin-if it
was then why did god make it so good? And
why did he give us such a strong urge to
do it? And why does it so in the bible to
go forth and multiply? (or something to
that effect)
you should try it,you might like it

Read some of his other posts, he is mad at
the world, anti-marriage, anti-women he
has been hurt and he wants all of us to
think like he does and heck, we have all
been hurt one time or other in our lives
he just needs to learn to let it go he
said the sun is the cure for almost
everything, we all know how bad the sun is
for us, he is hurting and wants us to hurt
with him and I am not saying that I am
against the man above, that is for sure
but you don't discuss religion and
politics on a forum it will end up in a
heated debate, I work around a lot of men
women and children and this is the way a
lot of them react to a situation.
Sincerely,
sandy

Lightningrod, I consider myself religious
in nature and believe very much in god and
jesus. I too want to follow jesus and
live well, but it is not our place to
judge people. Everyone has different
views and beliefs that should all be
respected. I am thinking of having sex,
and no I am not married. I had always
planned on waiting until
marriage...Always. But I have fallen in
love with an amazing girl and I began to
think. Without love and committment,
marriage is just an empty agreement.
The key here for me is that you love the
person and care enough to be that intiment
with them. No she is not my wife, but
god knows I love her and am committed to
her so I think he would be okay with it,
and who knows what the future holds! As
far as I am concerned she is my partner,
so to me there is nothing wrong with
showing her my love and connecting with
her in this way. I would appreciate
anyone else's thoughts on this!

Unfortunately many people who are "hurt"
emotionally become scrred & then
overract in such a way as to actually make
things worse, plus & again
unfortunately some people who "find
religion" take it to absurd extremes (like
this guy) & hurt the faith they are
proclaiming & those of us who have
faith but also believe in freedom to
practise religion without interfering with
or hurting others.
Southcoach,
i was raised to not have sex outside
marriage - & if a person(couple!!)
want to do this then fine - but I also
believe in a forgiving & rational god
- so if you make love outside marriage
(carried away by the moment or in love
& decide not to wait) he'll understand
- he (i believe also understands that
different times, people, places,
cirumstances etc lead to different
decisions. My husband & I lived
together for a year prior to marrying -
but we always intended to marry - for me
it wasn't so much an issue of making love
prior to marriage but "if i'm good enough
to live with then i'm good enough to
marry" - if you can't make that "final"
commitment then I question your
commitment. You asked for an honest
opinion.
My children are taught that you do not
have to wait until marriage but you should
not just have sex, it should be love
making & you should be
wanting/intending to make a commitment.

Thanks for your thoughts purple333!! I
have since had sex with my girlfriend but
do believe I made the right choice. I do
not regret it and I really honestly love
her or else I wouldn't have done it. I
am also very committed to her as well.

So, don 't you dare listen to any of these
igno 's !!! That 's why god will hold
each accountable for his or her own
personal/individual choices or decisions
!!! Marriage is not for everyone !!!
Maybe ... Your life would be better
utilized ... In other ways !!! There
are plenty of causes out there !!! And,
with 6 billion of us, you just need to
keep up with pleasing the man upstairs !!!
Don 't you dare worry about pleasing any
of the rest of us, because that would be
a sin !!! That would be nothing less
than you putting one us on the level of
god in your mind and body and soul !!!

Places like ehealth exist so that people
can ask for the opinions/advice etc of
others - that is not asking for approval!!

Ooooh someone can't get any. J/k, sorry
that was low.
But on a serious note: lightening rod and
lollipop4u (obviously men who think their
poo don't stink) you two are very sexist
and misinformed. What in the world does
believing god and worshipping jesus have
to do with paying alimony and child
support?
If you get a woman pregnant you should pay
child support as it is your child too.
With an attitude like yours you never will
get married. You need to wake up and
smell the roses buddy. God meant for us
to have mates and love and all great
things.
You are twisting around the christian
faith into something sick and sexist.

I lost my faith, but I still believe that
there is a greater force out there. Dude,
if you're gonna talk religion, make it
nice and respect others, or go to a church
chat or something. People have tried to
force religion on me before, I gotta say,
I don't like it.
It's as simple as this: we'll respect your
beliefs and you'll respect ours.
This world needs to learn more
respect...This coming from a 14 year old!

Okay,
people thought they were the last
generation like five hundred years ago.
So how do you know now is the time for the
messiah. Also, god says don't judge
people. You seem to be judgemental.
Anyways, why do people think you are going
to convert people or make them believe in
them by getting on a health forum and
lecturing people about the messiah.
That's why people go to church!
