Hello. I am very concerned with a problem my buddy is having. Some how he injured his achilles tendon; his heel is swollen, he complains about heel pain sharp and going up the back of his foot, its red and he cant bend it forward/normal rang of motion, nor can he walk on it. I dont know if he should go to emergency or not. The pain does go down when its elevated and iced. What should we do?
