i had an mri done last september and am pleased to say I was fine afterwards, although like you I was pretty nervous about it! I was just wondering, what type of seizures do you have?

Hello there.
I have complex partial seizures, grand mal, petit mal. And they think that I have pseudo seizures.
All my mri and sellp deprived results came back normal. So there we go nothing abnormal with me at all but still having the seizures.
I just dont know anymore. Now the doctors are saying that they are going to send me to a epileptic hospital to be video moniterd. So I am still scared.

my mri came back normal as well. Although my eeg's have always shown epileptic activity. With me there is no known cause as to how epilepsy developed in me which in many ways is so frustrating. I was diagnosed with petit mal when I was young, then around 19 things became more seious, tonic seizures started from time to time.
For me the petit mal seizures are quick flutters of my eyes, literally a few seconds and they don't interfere with anything. What are your petit mal seizures like? (if you don't mind my asking)
i compleletly understand your being scared. So often i'm scared just going to see my specialist every year or so for fear that there's bad news coming. Keep your chin up. You'll find the strength you need to face this!

My petit mal seizures are
i have been told that I stop in mid sentance, even if I am holding a drink its like I freeze, my head tilts back and my eyes roll into the back of my head and my eye lids flutter. And I sigh alot. My breathing changes.
Thats one type of petit mal I have the other is where I just stop stare and then a few seconds later I am good again. Another is I will run round the house like an fool laughing my head off, touching my face playing with my lips. Laughing like an fool. Another is I will sit there stare and run my hands over my entire body and blow kisses.
Usually after this happens to me with either type, I dont know what I wanted to do then about 1 minute later I am all like oh yeah thats right. And usually I sont know what is happening or I kinda do but I just cant stop it anyway. Lasts 20seconds tops.
