Q: Golf Wrist Injury
asked by: golfer24 on May 22nd, 2004

I am an avid golfer, and about a week ago I was at the driving range for a long time, and I was taking very deep divots. This cause the club to slow down very abruptly, bending my right wrist back.

After a couple hours, my right wrist started to hurt. It hurts on the top left side of the wrist if my palm is facing down.

Does anybody know what injury this is, and how to treat it?

Your best bet is always to go to a doctor.

Same Injury - Still There
Hi. I believe I have the same injury but mine came from repeated hitting of tennis balls. What you describe is identical. I've had it chronically for a couple of years but havn't been to a doctor. Have you had any good news about yours since you first posted back in may? Mine will go away if I baby my wrist enough but hammering or somesuch will bring it right back.
