You usually feel "flutters" I think its about 14-15 weeks but you cant feel them on the outside till quite a bit after that a believe!

It depends. Usually around 16 wks but some women feel it sooner. Especially with the second, third, pregnancy.

Baby Kicking
I am 14 weeks pregnant, and on my second pregnancy, and I still haven't felt any movement yet. They say with your second you usually feel it sooner, but if you are on your first usually between 16 to 20 weeks. The only problem with first pregnancies, is that you really don't know what you are feeling for so you miss it at first. It feels almost feather like on the inside, it kind of tickles.

Hey ladies...
I'm new here, but I have a question concerning my 17 week
pregnant wife.

Last night she felt a constant pain in her lower stomach which has
mostly subsided during the day.

Have any of you had that? If so what is it?
Please help.

To felix,

ask your wife if the pain was like stretching pain or menstral cramp pain?

When I was about 16/17 weeks I had terrible stretching pain I could hardly move. It lasted a couple days. I went to the dr right away and she said it was normal to feel it and that some women have it more then others. If she is really worried she can always see her Dr. About it. I think that might a safe bet.

I feel like I swallowed a bird and its flapping its wings. Always on the right side when im laying on my back. The other night I was laying on my side I felt it on the left. I dont know if its the baby cause ive never been pregnant before. My doctor said it sounds like I feel fluttering. Does fluttering feel like flapping bird wings? Lol Laughing

I Feel My Baby!!!
Um... I am 17 weeks and I feel my baby mostly when I go to sit down or when I am relaxed! Its funny everyday I rub my belly and talk to my baby, and like 10 min after I start to feel little flutters!!! Its the most amazing thing. The thought of a little one growing inside of you! And then you can feel him or her!!! Laughing

sounds like it might be round ligament pain... This is normal and is just the ligaments adjusting to the weight of the uterus to accomodate the baby

check with ur doc just to make sure though

i first felt baby move (felt like twitches, or like gas but I knew it wasnt) around 16 weeks.

I am now 21 weeks and since new years eve, I have felt her kicks so hard that I can feel it on the outside... :)
