Sorry to tell you, there is no cure for hpv (genital warts). You can get the actual warts removed which may go away by themselves, may reappear after removal, and may go away for ever. But because this infection is viral not bacterial, it cannot be cured. Even though you get rid of the warts you still have the infection in your body. This will not be harmful for you, but if it is given to a woman, and she contracts hpv, she could at worst get cervical cancer. There are many different strains of the infection. Some show warts and some don't. Some make the cervical cells cancerous and some won't. The best thing you can do is simply be honest with any woman in the future and use protection. As long as you do the virus will remain with you only. Any unprotected (as you know) sex and even unprotected oral sex will spread the virus. Being a woman, I would like to know upfront and if I really cared for the man as long as I know we could be careful and protected I would remain with him. I have a good friend that has genital herpes. He is honest with every single woman that he is with. He has had some awesome relationships also. So if you find the right woman, who loves you for you, no std can stand in the way.
