Hello, i'm new here and english is not my first language so mistakes are possible.. Sorry

This happend to me twice in last seven days and it lasted util I calmed myself down.
If this problems are only psychic, can anything happen to me physical durnig this "attacks"?

Re: Rapid Pulse And Stress
No, panic attacks do not harm your body in anyway. They are however extremely scary, and you think that they will hurt you, but they don't.

That could also be the sign of a thyroid problem. I would definitely see a doctor is it happens again. Better safe than sorry!

Good luck!

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that.. I have hypothyroidism. And that is a sign of it.. Also weight gain, lethargy, hair loss. Etc.

Well, thanks..

You were fast in your answers.. This is now big burden for me, this was extremely unpleasent expirience and now i'm checking my heart rate every 5 minutes.. And when it's close or around 100 (which is often becuse i'm thniking about it all the time) I get nervous and that just complicates the problem and creates a magic circle.

Hi dido-

looks like you have already gotten some good advice :d definitely get your thyroid checked and if it ends up being anxiety and panic you may want to look into cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) as it taught me the tools I needed to get over the problem. My favorite introductory book on cbt is "been there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz and many universities offer cbt programs that are of little or no cost to the patients.
Good luck!
