On mothers day let us keep those women in our hearts and if god does exist lets hope he blesses them with forgivness and eases their pain.

Yes, and also for the women who gave up their babies for adoption. I was looking at the adoption forum, and there is a long thread about how so many of the girls hate mothers day because they don't have their children. But many women who have had abortions do also have one or more healthy happy children with them, and even if they think about one that was aborted they often know it was for the best and that it was the right decision.

Lets also keep in mind those who have adopted their child that they have a child giving them a mothers day card. Such a wonderful gift from both biological mother and adopted child.

Lets keep in mind those who have been rendered infertile by abortion and cant now have children may their card come from heaven.


Lets hope these children who have been health question by abortion still exist somewhere and pass on their love in some form to their mothers.


Lets hope those women who think they did it for the best recieve enlightenment that they did choose the wrong option so they dont do it again and again.


Lets hope for society and governments to uphold the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death so we can move forward in helpping and protecting pregnant women and their unborn children so they will no longer feel society rejecting them and pressuring them into thinking abortion is the only way out, when it is not!

Governments' widespread disregard for women's human rights resulting in limited access to health care and education for women and human rights violations contributes to the risks associated with pregnancy and childbirth.

All the health question will think this way (that abortion is okay). You might as well slit your own wrists, so that you and your baby can go together!

Shes very cute...But I was wondering if you became pregnant again and the doctor told you something was terriably wrong with the baby and that the chances for survival were very very small and it could mean costing you your life also..What would you do?

Yes I would, because (me being religious) I beleive that god will handle everything. And if it is meant to be my time, than so be it. That is just my veiw on it, and I will stop replying in here, because I realize that everyone does what is best for them.

that was my reason for not having an abortion when my baby girl had a 1 in 420 chance of having d/s and she is just fine. God really blessed my husband and i.

You know I must say......Wow the immaturity runs deep around here.
First of all, I don't wish pain or suffering on anyone, but I am so very tempted to wish it on the people who make it a point to judge women who have had to make a difficult choice. If I were ignorant I would wish that you were in a circumstance where abortion was your only option.
But, I do not wish that on any of you. What I do wish is that you would grow up, open your eyes and realize that not everyone has a life like yours. Not everyone is blessed with healthy babies. Not everyone is blessed with parents, siblings, friends or government assistance. Not everyone can make it on their own.
Being religious, you ought to know that only god can judge. And I am sure that he would not approve of this post at all.

1 420 chance of ds is not really very high but weren't you offered the test to be more sure? If you knew there was a 95% chance that it would have down's syndrome what would you have done? If you are over 40 the risk is about 1 in 40, and something like 1 in 10 over 45. But they can test for that at something like 4 months with pretty good accuracy.

Well it may not seem high for you because it wasn't your child but to me, that was like say about 4 people in one high school could end up with it, and it worried me. However, I am very grateful that it was only out of 420, because her chances of not having it were increased, and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have changed my mind if she had a higher chance. Honestly. I am glad they have tests now for those people who decided to make a different decision than I have, but I don’t think mine would ever change. Wow 1 in 40 though, that is really high. To keep religion at a minimum, I believe god works in mysterious ways. For those of you whom don’t believe in a higher power, there must be something that keeps some faith and hope in you and I am sure you count and rely on that in a bad situation!
