Q: difference in degenerated disks & disk protrusion/extrusion

Hello everyone

whats the difference in degenerated disks and disk protrusion/extrusion?

And disk buldge?

Its all confusing to me. My last mri is showing lots of disk protrusions and just wanted to know.

Degenerative disk disease is when you disk are deteriorating(sp) either due to an injury or some people can get it with age, bulging disk is almost like a herniated disk only there not as big I have both in my neck depending on the extent of injury and location some have fusions to fix the bulge, or even other surgery, I opted not to do either hpe this helps
