First of all i'm a 33 yr old stay at home, mother of three. I am overweight but not to the point of being obese. I just haven't been able to get rid of the extra skin, weight I acquired while pregnant with twins four years ago. My weight has been the same, give or take about 5 lbs, for the last three years. While prego with the twins, my blood pressure was always normal or normal/low.

I've been having these wierd episodes usually at least once per day. They can happen when i'm being active around the house (cleaning), or while i'm sitting down reading a book.

The symptoms consist of feeling heavy headed, becoming really tired (even though I wasn't just an hour before), feeling as if my eyeballs are bulging, feeling as if someone has ahold of my neck and i'm losing my breath. Much like what you would feel if your child was hanging onto your neck while riding on your back. I also feel like i'm getting or I have a dull headache. My head just feels abnormally large.

My family has a long history of heart disease and high blood pressure and up until a couple of years ago, I always had low blood pressure. However, in the past few years I will have periodic readings of high normal and high. My mom thinks I should invest in a blood pressure monitor and keep track of it.

I should also mention that I take prozac and provigil for treatment of bipolar and lately have been having quite a rough time dealing with my tmj problem acting up. No one seems to think it is related to the meds, seeing as i've been on both together since the beginning of this year.
Could these symptoms be stress related?

I don't want to go to the doctor and have them tell me it's nothing, but if anyone out there has had a similar problem or can offer any insight to my problem, I would really appreciate it and it could save me some money in the long run. Thanks for your replys! Confused
