Hi inpain.
I know how you're feeling.
I have spent the last year and a half
years having test after test, to the point
where I actually feel ravaged and
exhausted from the tests alone.
I have acute prostitis and the symptoms
you describe are exactly like mine. I am
at the point where I can no longer get or
maintain an erection and whenever I
ejacule, flaccid, I scream in pain.
My quality of life is zero and I have no
idea where to turn, as each doctor has
their own recommendations and
treatments.
I have been on antiobiotics, had prostate
massages etc.. And am now on strong pain
killers and that's the only way I get
through the day. It's a lousy way to
exist and the pain killers have introduced
their own problems into an already
desperate equation.
I, like you, have a son and wife, and if
they were not here, I would exit this
pain.
Maybe the fact that you and I are both in
the same boat and others like us share the
same pains is reason enough to seek
comfort in our empathy. Hang in there.
Ask your doctor for a prostate scan, blood
tests and a culture of the prostate
fluids, mine showed a streptachoccyl
(spelling?) infection.
Find a support group and share with
others, that's what I am trying to do.
Because if I don't find one soon, I will
implode.
