I have never had a child but I did get pregnant my freshman year of college and I can tell you I have never been so scared or upset in my entire life. I felt like all of my future plans and the wonderful life I had planned out for myself were over with. I was absolutely devasted and surprised, because 6 years ago my doctor didn't tell me that antibiotics would lessen the effectiveness of the pill. Fortunately things worked out for me and I was able to continue my life.

it was very insensitive for her to let you go through that alone. i couldn't do that myself personally. you're the father, so you really had the right to know that your baby was alive

I'm glad that things worked out for all of you, but at the time I made a very difficult choice, one I don't regret . I have wondered how my life would be different if I had a child...would I have finished college? Met my husband?
