i'm hoping i'm just being paranoid but for the last 4-6 months i've had a problem with stools. I go about once a day and end up having to wipe about 25 times. After this I find myself having to go back to the toilet every hour to wipe again as it comes back. Is it worth going to see the doctor about?

(ps - i do sometimes get abdominal pains on an empty stomach but I've had my abdominals scanned and nothing has shown up)

Is a constant seepage of fecal matter or mucus reason for frequent wiping after bowel movement?
Do you usually have a feeling of incomplete bowel movement?
Do you find your anal area swollen and painful?
