Does a depressed person worry about being depressed,is it normal to not want to do anything sometimes when everyone else does like go out sometime or should i fell like doing it because its fun @ i dont fell extremly happy all the time some days i fell blah . Can you please tell me whats normal and whats depression!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not too worry...will re-post:

Patsys...

I can fully understand your frustration...I cycle through emotions several times a day...sometimes even experience ALL at Once...also, I can tell you that:

1. It's advisable to not interrupt ANY form of anti-depression medication. It messes around your brain-chem.
2. The major defining symptoms of depression is in fact...mood swings, lack of interest in activities you usually enjoy, irrational/extreme emotional reaction that is not suited to the situation.

As of late, I REALLY don't know what is "Normal" any more...If you know my history, you will know what I mean ;o). Every singel medical professional I see currently finds SOMETHING that I always accepted as "Normal" but which is really TOTALLY out of wack...

Can anyone help me?
I'm suffering from this sick feeling that is like
death but there is no pain or anything.I've had blood work done about a month ago and it was OK,my
blood pressure is normal but I've been feeling this
horrible feeling now for 2 weeks.This goes on for 24
hrs. aday. I'm on 10 mgs. of lexapro daily. I've not
felt anything like this in all my 62yrs. Any help out there?
