Q: excessive wiping after stools

for the past few months I have found myself haven't to keep wiping after a stool. I If I have it early in the morning I am having to go back to the toilet and wi-pe every half for the rest of the day, Also when I do wipei'm having todo itabout 20 times. Is it worth seeing a doctor over?

Seems like you are constipated. Add some fiber to your diet and drink some prune juice....and get into the habit of drinking more and keeping fiber in your diet. That should solve the problem.

I am on the boat with mominashoe....you definatley need more fiber,drink more water and keep a container of baby wipes next to your commode. These are a life saver to ensure you are clean. Don't flush them though...If you still find you are not getting clean and having to wipe and wipe, it could be anal leakage and very well should be looked into by a physican.

That's a great tip Godmother!!

They do have wipes that are flushable, but more expensive than regular wipes that you can buy....I think Cottonelle (and some other brands that I can't think of) makes them, and they have ones for kids too.
