Q: New prescription causing constant eye-refocusing

I recently got a new pair of prescription glasses. My left eye had weakened by -1.5 and my right by -1.

I am used to the normal "headache" and/or "nasal irretation" that goes along with a new prescription, but this time I have a new strange effect happening.

I notice it the most when I am looking far and then suddenly look close up. Everything gets blurry and then progressively clear's up again. Also, while I am looking close this effect constantly happens.

It's almost like my eyes are constantly "refocussing".

Is this something I should be concerned about or is it just that my eyes have to adjust to the new prescription?

P.S. I am nearsighted but my close-up vision also seems to be impaired as I can't read without my glasses.
