Appendix and Appendicitis Forum - Drinking Alcohol After Appendectomy

I have drunk alcohol on 5th day after appendectomy laparoscopic surgery, after that I use to drink weekly twice (beer). Is there any problem cause because of this to the inner wound ? Please advice

It is unlikely you still have an internal wound from your appendectomy. You may continue to drink alcoholic beverages twice per week without adverse affect to the surgical site.
