Q: Contradicting Pregnancy Tests
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 28th, 2008
i am 10 days late for my period. a couple of days before i was due on i experienced a heavy discharge which was much thicker than normal. my last period was 23.01.2008. I have done several pregnancy tests - 2 of them said positive, but some of them said negative. I am really confused and not sure what to do. I have had tender breasts, nausea, feeling light headed and also have developed white lumps around my nipples.

Since your period is late and you have received different results from home pregnancy tests, you might consider a visit to your gynecologist. A blood test and/or ultrasound will give you definitive results, and your doctor can address your other symptoms as well.
