swollen Bartholin's gland

i'm having painful intercourse.

i have a lump in the side of my vagina. i have a history of having a bartholin's gland cyst on the same area.

but when i first had it, it was painful from the outside, like when i touch it or when im sitting, but now after a year, the lump appeared again but this time it is not painful from outside, but im having painful sexual intercourse as if my boyfriend is hitting on something from inside.

i cant go to my gynecologist right now because im out of town and i forgot the medications that she gave me before, besides im not sure if im having the same condition.

is there anything that i can do for the meantime, because the pain is interrupting us during sex and i think that is not a good thing for my partner.
