If it is not too big (first or second degree), you could
try "Daflon" (diosmin hesperidin) tablets, which are
bioflavonoids. The original product is made by Servier,
the French drug firm.

I'm not sure if that is a prescription medication in the USA
(if you are from there) though, or if it is available at all.

If not, you can get is as a supplement from Life-enhancement.com,
which also includes troxerutin, another commonly used
bioflavonoid for hemorrhoids. Troxerutin has long been sold
in Europe and elsewhere (made by the drug firm Ciba) as
"Varemoid" and "Venoruton".

Otherwide, rutin tablets found in any health food store can help.
Most of the herbal formulas for vein problems which include
butcher's boom, horse chestnut, stone root, prickly ash bark
and red vine will also help. A good one is Now's "Vein Supreme".
Just ask the health food store people to recommend you one.

If these do not work, the doctor can band it as an outpatient
procedure.
