Q: terminating health insurance

My wife was not covered by her employer and bought health coverage from Aetna 18 months ago. She's been paying month by month. She has a new job and is now covered under an employee plan with a different company. She has since missed two monthly payments to Aetna, but has not contacted them requesting a termination of coverage. The website does not allow her to log in (or even send an online message for login help) and she hasn't made the call to the 800 number. I've called and waited long enough to talk to a representative, but was told that they cannot make changes to her account without her on the line.
So will she be reported to credit agencies, or will the coverage just terminate?
