Hello Zee,

May I suggest that you obtain additional "2nd" opinions. From the variety of opinions from RESPECTED HIGHLY RECOGNIZED spinal surgeon see if a common thread of advice emerges. For me at least each professional medical opinion I obtain helps me to determine the best path to follow.

I wish you the very best.

Hello Zee,

"why would 2 different mri practices give me 2 different results?" - AND that Zee is what scares me to death. It almost seems like the medical profession is still in the dark ages with their witche's brew.

YES, I understand, we humans are a very varied lot. No way can doctors or anyone else put "us" in some kind of common "basket". AND yet, surely there ought to be some similarity in their diagnoses, and yet there doesn't seem to be.

From my experiences, medical doctors are NOT as a whole utilizing the powers of computers and computer medical knowledge anywhere near the potential that is out there. I don't expect any doctor, even a specialist to know everything about us varied humans. That is humanly impossible. HOWEVER, if they would just take their individual informatrion/experiences with patients and SHARE that information with each other, their diagnoses would have a far greater chance of being correct.

Okay, I have rambled on enough.
