Q: Blood in bowel movement

I have been experiencing bright red blood after a bowel movement. Sometimes while having a bm i experience moderate amounts of pain, sometimes severe. On occasion there is also a clear yellow tinted mucous type substance with the blood when i wipe. I have also experienced moderate to severe pain after making a bowel movement, as well as spasms of the muscles down there which is painful as well and sometimes keeps me up at night. I have looked into web md and these symptoms seem to fit the quota of an anal fissure, could it be one? Or could this possibly be just a hemorrhoid? Or maybe something more serious? I do not have health insurance which is why I am trying to find more information before seeing a doctor. Thank you for all help.

This sounds like a hemmoroid (Internal). The bleeding is usually from being constipated and moving hard bowels. Also straining to move your bowels will also cause this.
