Can you still have children if you have MS? Is it generally something that is discouraged??

I was just at the neurologis yesterday and I asked this question because I would Love to have another child!

She says that it is possible! It is all kind of relevant on how severe your case is. How often you have these relapses and how bad they are.

I was just recently diagnosed and I have a lot of lower body numbness and was advised to wait a while because of how bad I am right now. Plus I will be starting meds soon and we want to see how my body will react

I would talk to your neurologist and see what their thoughts are. I know that some meds can possible affect the child. Good Luck!
