Q: Hair loss and Ditropan XL

I have read all of the literature on Ditropan XL and it says nothing about it. But I have been losing my hair for quite some time now and they haven't found a reason as to why (blood tests come back normal). Now that its gotten to its worst point where I can hardly cover it up, I'm finally getting to see a dermatologist in May as I'm finally an adult and they can no longer protest. My parents seem to blame it on the Ditropan pills (taken since 14). But I think I'd have to disagree. But if anyone can prove me wrong, I'd like to hear.

Have you spoken to your pharmacist about Ditropan side effects or contact the company who makes it to see if they've had any complaints about hair loss and Ditropan.

It's possible you something else might be going on unrelated to the medication.
