Hi, I am 35 years old and have been dealing with episodes for the past 7 years of headaches behind the right eye, balled up muscle stiffness, difficutly walking fatigue, neurgenic bladder, dizziness. The summer of 2007 the dizziness has been so bad and I had a hard time staying awake the entire summer. I went to a neurologist which i told her my symptoms and she did a Brain MRI and discovered I have two leasions in the pons area of my brain and thats why i'm having such a hard time staying awake. The doctor put me on adderall to keep me awake. It seems to be working fine but, I'm still having issues of dizziness which can last every day, lasting for an hour to 8 hours a day and has been going on for almost a year now and doesn't seem to be going away. I do know that If I don't get enough rest, or I'm out in the cold it will bring on my other symptoms of balled up muscle stiffness.

The doctor is thinking of putting in the catagory of Mixed connective tissue disease for now. All I want is for the dizziness to stop. Has anyone had this problems? Especially the longs periods of dizziness? I have had my inner ear checked and Have been to an ENT Doc and they said everything was ok.

Hi
I think I would find another neurologist to seek a second opinion. You should not have to just "settle' for what this doctor has told you, given you only Adderall to keep you awake, he has done nothing for the dizziness. Something is causing this, and ENT has ruled out inner ear problem. I would find a doctor who would be willing to do what it takes to STOP the dizziness. Please keep us posted!

As far as the dizziness I came up with sitting in a dark room looking at a candle seems to help slow down the dizziness. Sounds crazy but it works for me. Do you have MS.
I've been on Low Dose Naltrexone for 9 months now and it appears that everything is in remission. I didn't notice anything for about 6 months. Then I began feeling much I had blood tests ran and everything is back to normal and my brain leisons are gone.

For Dizziness
For DIZZINESS use Antivert, It Works!
Generic Mezziline
I believe is the correct spelling
I was Electrocuted & use it when I get Dizzy
