That's good news compared to what we had. I hope you get over feeling sick soon. Glad you saw the family today. Sounds like Luciana has got a good set of choppers. That heart infection is scary but with that news today you should be able to beat it. Did you get some ice cream? My favorites lemon. Yum.
I'm praying for Kristen. I'll check on her tomorrow. By the way, can I go along for drinks? I'll buy the first round.

Good nite. I want to go to sleep , but have to wait for my respiratory treatment. Jonathan and Luciana just left. I will see Jonathan tommarrow morning before he has to leave. I know that was good news, but I hope my heart can hold up with these infections for four or eight weeks. Yeah Luciana does not have many teeth, but the ones she has sure are sharp! I did get ice cream vanilla raspberry. I also love Pinkberry ice cream I always get that when I go to California. My favorite ice cream is vanilla with big chunks of peanut butter, but I was afraid it would scratch my throat. Ok gonna go because my cardio just came wants to check me before he goes home. One of his patients was transplanted a couple days ago , and is doing well. He said he debated whether to share that with me, but he told me for encouragement. Do you have a dctor appointment tommarrow? Let me know how Kristen is. Good the respiratory therapist is here, and after my treatment my cardio will check me, and I can finallly sleep. I feel sick and wamt to sleep. Goodnite or I will keep talking. I told my cardio about you buying the first round of drinks and he said sure you deserve a couple also. Hello. You finally managed to make it back to school! i do not know about you. I guess I should trust your cardio if he feels you are strong enough. I still worry. Lots of prayers for Kristen. I know it is probably hard for you not to see her in so long. I saw Jonathan this morning. He only had to go to Ny this time, but he will be there til at least Thursday. I slept most of the day no dialysis yet, my cardio wanted me to rest. Lots of pain today in my chest and stomach. Very tired! I hope I can get away without dialysis today. Probably not though. I never heard of lemon ice cream. Are you being serious, or is it a Texas thing? You talked about subtropics, well I understand it got really cold here again. We went from 70/80 degrees down to 50/60. Today is very sunny, but everyone says it is cold out. Good save the nice warm days for when my infections are gone and I have a new heart, or at least when I am well enough to go outside. Those big mosquitos with hot weather and rain be careful that you do not get bit. Hope that weather is gone. Better get going for now tired. It was nice to hear from you. I'm sorry I am just getting back to you. i was visiting with a friend who is going to have some surgery tomorrow and time slipped by. I really don't like taking too much of your time when you are feeling so ill. You don't need to be thinking that you have to return my blogs all the time. I'ts not necessary, though I do enjoy our conversations, to feel obligated. Hope your day got a little better. Need to get rid of some of that pain. I know there's only so much meds. they can give you. Maybe some lemon ice cream would help. Yup, it's good stuff.
My day was fairly easy. With Kristen gone, my job is much less hectic. Still miss her. Maybe tomorrow. I'm still planning on visiting my sister in June. I think I can talk her into driving me over to Boston and ,hopefully, visit you , Jonathan and Luciana. You should be feeling much better by then. You would enjoy my sister. She's funny. Hello. I am sorry! I fell asleep and the phone woke me up. I like to answer you quickly, and I promised to watch the hockey game. I missed both! My cardio is letting me sleep and not wake me up today. I had a weird occurance at dialysis . I blacked out and scared the dialysis nurse. My cardio could not stay for it. I must have had four ekg's since then. I guess lemon ice cream would be good. Just never heard of it. Do not ever feel bad about writting me, whether I feel terrible or not. That would be nice for our families to meet some day. I feel like I lnow you already. Maybe tommarrow Kristen will be at school. I know you miss her. If she is really hard to handle you really should ask for help with her. I know you care about her, but you need to care about yourself and health as well, especially with your last hospital episode. Good afternoon. Can anyone do anything about her care. Don't they see what you see, and are concerned like you? How are you feeling? When do you have to see the cardiologist again? I blacked out because of my potassium level. They checked it before dialysis, and it was at a good level. So they are confused what happened so fast. It did not happen today. Maybe just a freak thing. My cardio stayed today and was like a watch dog. I am glad he stayed in case anything happened. He has been running back and forth between me and a new patient he had got yesterday. Talk to you later if you have time and are not too tired. How is your friend that is having surgery today. The same goes for you, you do not have to write alot if you hav e other things you need to do. Just let me know how you are. Kristen had a good time for the short time she was in school. About one hour. She was still sick. I don't think I can do this next year. I'm looking for another position after summer school. It's been hard on my health worrying about the kids. We'll see.

Hello. It was nice to hear from you. I think that is a very good decision you made to change positions. That is a hard job for a healthy person not let alone for you with heart problems. You can always go have lunch and visit with Kristin and the others. How are you feeling? No my cardio is not too fat or skinny. He almost threw the towel in today. He ordered that they change my heart monitor leads. I had square ones they put circle shaped ones on. During dialysis I was scratching, and my cardio asked what was wrong. I told him i was itchy. He came over and took one off I was allergic to te new ones I broke out in a rash. He had to put the square kind back on. He said something simple with me turns into a big production. He just smirks and shakes his head. No blackouts today. My chest, glands and stomach hurt and am tired. I really am getting tired of these glands they are so uncomfortable. Luciana did come today, but was very quiet just wanted to lay with me. Which was fine with me. She actullty fell asleep. Maybe disneyland in a couple years when she can enjoy it. Maybe the beach she would enjoy that. I love the beach. Cape Cod is beautiful. Jonathan has a couple more weeks of work and then he gets time off until July! I cannot wait. Hello. I am very tired today. I think I slept enough it is time to get up and get my brain going. If I sleep any more now I will not be able to sleep later. Do not worry if something happens to me and Jonathan is not here my cardio knows how to write you. I am so happy that you are being a responsible person, and admitting your limitations. You can always spend time with your kids, and this way it can be quality time. It will be better for you and them. Do not think those kids cannot sense when you do not feel well. I feel Luciana does just by the way she hugged me yesterday, and wanted to stay close to me. My glands I am trying to hold the warm washcloth on my neck. It is supposed to help. My ent said unfortunately with my situation the only thing he can give me is tylenol for pain. I just wish the antibiotic would work a little. He did an ultrasound on my spleen to keep an eye that it does not rupture, because of the ascites. My cardio said all that fluid is very hard on my heart. He icreased the lasix and added another medicine. I am glad you feel much better. I actually believed you this time. My cardio was funny when he said he will throw the towel in. He laughed when he said it. He said he is asking his patients if it is ok if he takes Saturday off to go golfing. He asked me if I would feel comfortable with another cardio for the day. He said if any one of us need anything on that day the nurse can call him for us. I said of course it is ok. He is such a hardworking person that he needs to have some fun and relaxation. So he is bringing the other cardio in later on to meet his patients and will work all day with him tommarrow. That was really nice of him to ask. You have to tell me all about your new position. Have to eat supper. Chopped beef and gravy with a baked potatoe thatt has sour cream,cheese,bacon. it looks like a chopped up hamburger with gravy. Bet you had lots of healthy food when you were in the hospital lots of no salt food! ha ha Looking forward to hearing from you. Janine

Thanks for writing . Been looking forward to it. I was going to ask if there was anything else they could give you for pain. Guess not. That figures. Your right, your cardio needs some time off. Don't blame him for going golfing Sat. Hope the weathers good for him. tell him not to spend too much time at the 19th hole. Do you know what antibiotic they are giving you? Getting rid of some of that fluid off your tummy will help alot. I know your cardio will never forget your case. He has aquired considerable knowledge over the last couple months. More power to him. By the way ,just try to get along with the other cardio and don't cause any trouble, ha ha ha.
I talked to the superintendent today and he will probably place me in sr. high. They have a young man that's completely ambulatory. that means I will work solely as a mentor for him. He does not need any help in his daily care. I will be helping him with his school work. He doesn't have very strong male leadership and we think he would enjoy it. Really can't wait.
Have you talked to Luciana and Jonathan today. Hope so. They are two big rocks you can build on.

Hi. I am so happy for your new position at school. It sounds like you are very excited. It will be very rewarding for you. Gives you something to look forward to. Well I just met the new cardio. He is nice and seems so young. I guess he could be older and look young. I do not look my age everyone always thinks I am in my 20's. That is why I do not mind aging. Jonathan is quite younger than me. My cardio is letting him take over my care while he observes. He asked me tons of questions which is good. Yeah I know my stomach has alot of fluid. It hurts when they check my stomach. This cardio was afraid to hurt me.
Did you ever have ascites? I am thin so it is very noticeable. I miss my flat abs. Even when I was pregnant with Luciana I exercised. He said my mitral valve is clicking. Is tht good? Isn't it suppose to click? I am watching a hockey game. penguins against ranggers. Crosby of the penguins is an amazing person and player. my sox won yesterday! Go sox! You asked if I ever had ascites and the answer is yes. Almost all my fluid goes to my abdomin. Never legs of feet. It is uncomfortable while I have it. Of course you probably can't see it as well on me cause my abs went away the same time as 60cent gas did. By the way your flat abs will probably be back. mine won't. The mitral doesn't click as loud as the aortic valve. That may be the strong murmur he's talking about. Ask him.

Good nite. I will be nice to the new cardio. I hope he can handle me! ha ha He may give back all his degrees and start a new profession by the time his day is over. I enjoyed our long conversation tonight. I just saw my cardio anf told him about the 19th hole(whatever that means. i do not know a thing about golf. Miniature yes.) anyway he laughed. I get fluid in my legs and feet also, but really hate it in the abdomen. You are right it is uncomfortable. That is funny about how long ago your abs were flat. I hope by the time I am able to drive again the price of gas will be down. Ha ha .60 cents sounds good. ha ha I will let you go. My insurance company will love him. ha ha No dialysis today. He said he did hear a cllick and a terrible murmur.. No Luciana today. She is very irritable getting more teeth. Just what we need more teeth to bite with. haha I would want to see her, but she will probably disturb the other patients. Going to go try and sleep. I will write more later.
