I am not sure.. Prolly cause of the chance I might have that itchy thing.. The thing is..In my ultra sound.. it looks like.. there is two.. cause the head looks to be to far away from the body.. I will get my ultrasound scanned and put it on here.

Did your doc diagnose you with that or are you self diagnosing?

A lot of women itch during pregnancy. Hormones go bonkers and so does your skin.

Is there a test that your doc is going to run to check for sure?

It sounds like it could be pretty serious with the increased risk of premature labor and all. I would think that a doctor who thought you may have such a thing would have ordered the test STAT.
I know when my liver panel came back high my doc had me at the lab that very day.

ultrasounds are pretty accurate. and if it was twins, he would have detected two heartbeats. if you are worried, mention it to the doctor next time you see him and he can listen to the heartbeat

Ultrasound techs and radiologists go to school and are specifically trained at what to look for. Your risk of twins after having a 15/16 week ultrasound is nearly impossible. A 15/16 week old fetus is LARGE and unmistakeable to a trained eye.

i think twins are like 1 in 500000 chance, a family history of FRATERNAL twins puts you at a higher risk (along with a few other things like age weight etc) but it doesnt mean you WILL, also if your talking about a family history of identical twins, thats just a fluke, it may SEEM to run in a family but gentics dont play any role in that

that being said, i doubt the ultrasound tech missed twins....that is REALLY hard to miss

If the ultrasounds say NO and the professionals agree then your untrained eye is mostly likely the wrong one. 15 week fetus like some ave mentioned it quiet large and two fetuses would be pretty danr hard to miss. I say you have a singleton!
