I ahve never heard of this and I know good and well ther eare thousands of girls going on and getting tattoos and they are on some sort of birth control. Wish i'd started years ago when I wasn on birth control instead of making it a milestone things nad getting my first big tribal lower back tattoo at 50! Might jsut have to make this 51 another tattoo year! Addictive! You can always call a reputable tattoo shop and ask this question. But if you ask me...not being a medical profesional., I'd say you'd be fine.........jsut make sure you know what you want on your permanently and have a reputable and artistic tattoo artist! I have three tattoos, and got two of them done while on birth control! It will not cause any side effects for the tattoo, or the birth control! Everthing will be just fine! I do agree with the previous statement, make sure that you have a tattoo that you really want...and keep in mind you will have it for the rest of you life! My biggest suggestion is not to pick one from the flash, design something unique, and be sure that they do not put it in their flash....anybody can have it then, this happened to me and I was very upset. I have a great tattoo guy now, and will never go anywhere else, also be sure they are really sanitary. A good way to do this is to use their restroom, see what kind of condition it is in, and also see what kind of soap is there, if the public restroom is also the employee restroom!
