For months I smelled cigarette smoke when no one was smoking. My nose and eyes would literally start burning. It was most annoying in the middle of the night. I was tested for a brain tumor, then told I probably had a seizure disorder.

I found this very hard to believe and set out to research. After reading a very obscure posting about the use of underarm deoderant and the chemicals contained in them . . . . . I tossed my deoderant (21 ingredients) in favor of one with only 1 ingredient. It's been 3 months - NO MORE PHANTOM SMELLS!

Think about all the crap we put ON and IN our bodies. Good luck!

Extremely eHealthy
Phantosmia (there is no odorant present, but the affected person reports smelling something, usually something unpleasant, smells of death (rotting flesh), feces, vomit, garbage, and smoke), result from damage to the nervous tissues in the olfactory system. Such damage can result from viral infection, head trauma, surgery, and possibly exposure to certain toxins or use of certain drugs.
