negative early test but feeling heaviness Posted: 02-22-08 10:30am
Hello, My husband and I are trying
conceive again. 9 years ago I was told I
could never have children but God
obviously had different plans because I am
the mother of a beautiful 18mo boy. I am
not one that has regular menstral cycles.
I have been checking my cervical mucous
and noticed that it was perfect on
February 9, 2008. I began to have
cramping about on 2/14/08 which has lasted
off and on till today 2/22/08. I guess I
would be due to start my period tomorrow
2/23/08 which would be exactly 14 days
from the 2/9/08. I am so nervous. We
really want to have another child. I had
a blood test on 2/19/08 but that was
negative. The nurse said to not be
disappointed b/c it was still early, but I
am a little depressed. I know that with
my first son I did not test positive with
urine tests until i was about 4 1/2 weeks
along. Could I just be testing too soon?
Is there anyone who has gone through what
I am going through. I have tried those
online test that can detect 20ug but they
keep coming back negative. I still feel a
heaviness down there. There has been no
spotting. I appreciate any advice given.
