umm i had my son on jan 9th and im still bleeding... i was supposed to have my 6 week follow up yesterday but it got cancelled cuz where i needed to go get it done, the power went out there so they called and asked me to call them back and re-schedule. i havent re-scheduled yet but will tomorrow.anyways it is normal to still be bleeding? and when will i get my period again?

Yes you can bleed for up to 2 months after you have a baby. If it goes for longer than that, you will need to tell your doctor. My doctor doesn't see his patients for a postpartum checkup until 2 months after the baby is born. So don't worry.

I never get my regular period back until the baby is about three months old.
